Seaplane flight over Vancouver – what to expect

A plane that can take off and land on water is called a Seaplane. It is a cross between a boat and an airplane. They are also known as ‘amphibious aircraft.’

Nothing quite compares to witnessing the Vancouver cityscape, the adjacent mountains, and the seascapes from above, even if they are all beautiful from land and water.

On these Vancouver Seaplane tours, you will enjoy a small-group seaplane trip flying above the lovely city of Vancouver while taking a bird’s eye view of its charming harbor and neighboring mountain peaks.

Take in the expansive vistas of the sea, the tallest mountains, and the glaciers.

Shannon Falls, the third-highest waterfall in British Columbia, is one of the best destinations.

Water pours over a series of rocks from 335 meters (1,099 feet).

Two viewing areas for the falls are just a short distance from the parking lot.

The Sea to Sky Gondola, located just south of Squamish, is the next station.

All of this is included in the 20-minute shorter Seaplane tour over Vancouver.

The 45-minute Vancouver Panorama flight in a Seaplane trip includes all these visuals before continuing northward into Whistler, making a loop back across the Islands, and discovering the breathtaking Sunshine Coast.
